In June 2017, after a year of frantic building and fundraising, Grange Park Opera (founded 1998) opened the doors of the new Opera House at West Horsley Place, Surrey, just 23 miles from Trafalgar Square.
In its 26 years, Grange Park Opera has:
appeared at the 2015 BBC Proms

given over 500 performances and aired lesser-known works including Thaïs, Don Quichotte (Massenet), Carmélites (Poulenc) and Enchantress (Tchaikovsky)
pioneered young audiences and nurtured younger artists with scholarships
raised £11.4m to build a five-tier horseshoe Opera House, modelled in La Scala in Milan, which nestles in a wood behind the walled gardens of 15th century West Horsley Place
hosted world premières including Pushkin (Boyarsky) and The Life & Death of Alexander Litvinenko (Bolton)
Grange Park Opera is a UK charity and receives no government subsidy.
